Welcome to Virginia Tech and University Studies!
Our goal is to help make your transition to Virginia Tech and University Studies as smooth as possible. An outline of your next steps is below. If you have questions feel free to email advising@vt.edu.
What is virtual academic advising and course registration?
It is the academic college portion of your VT orientation experience; a series of tasks and meetings designed to help you with your transition to college and class planning. It is required for all new students. This experience is in addition to the University First-Year Orientation, but some of our steps and reminders may overlap.
