This method starts broad and then provides more options within each field or sector. Fields or sectors are groupings of majors based on related approaches or subjects. These fields or clusters cross over colleges, so majors within a single field or cluster.

- Meet with Offices/Resources to align careers and majors
- Schedule an appointment with your academic advisor

- Meet with Career & Professional Development

- Meet with faculty in the discipline
- This might require emailing or meeting with current faculty or emailing someone for the first time
- Consider an informational interview with someone in the field in which you want to pursue
