Review Student Academic Standing, Status, and Major
- If a student that has left the university it does not mean they left in poor academic standing. These student's life experiences may have helped or hurt their projections for success in college.
- The student’s major and/or career trajectory prior to leaving the university must be reviewed. Since taking a gap, they might want to change their major plans. Due to this, they may need to connect with a transitional advisor.
Review areas where students in that major typically struggle such as time management, combination of certain courses requiring support services, or a change of major may be suggested.
- The Student Success Center offers academic support services that may be helpful.
